24TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE (2009)
BUSINESS MEETING AGENDA AND BRAINSTORMING TOPIC

Here is the agenda for the 2009 conference business meeting and the topic for the brainstorming session. The business meeting will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 starting at 3:45 p.m.  and will go straight into the brainstorming session after the business meeting is adjourned.  Bob Persing will be the parliamentarian for both the business meeting and for the brainstorming session.  The brainstorming session will be concluded at 5:15 p.m.

3.    Secretary’s report, presented by Joyce Tenney
4.    Treasurer’s report, presented by Peter Whiting
5.    Introduction to the 2009-2010 board, presented by Kathy Brannon, Tim Hagan, and June Garner (N&E co-chairs)
6.    Recognition of outgoing board members and committee chairs, presented by Patrick Carr & Carol Ficken (A&R co-chairs)
7.    Discussion of old business, presented by Bob Persing, parliamentarian
8.    Call for new business, presented by Bob Persing, parliamentarian

BRAINSTORMING TOPIC

Topic of brainstorming:  Nominations & Elections process – Should NASIG consider open elections or continue the review process?   Currently, there is a discussion forum open to all members on the same topic.  You are invited to read the current comments and add any you may also have: http://tinyurl.com/c29lpa
